Who We Need:

 

We are growing our team of developers dedicated to creating automated frameworks that guarantee quality products. We are looking for smart testers and developers to join in and help provide confidence that the software we build does what it’s supposed to do in a wide range of scenarios.  You will work closely with developers creating the products and infrastructure that is at the heart of Malwarebytes.  The ideal candidate will be a talented developer, experienced in software quality, and have a passion for shipping defect-free software.

 

 

What You Will Do:

 

  • Develop a test automation framework that works within our toolchain to provide rapid feedback to developers
  • Create robust software using a variety of technologies that exercise and validate our software in the fight against malware
  • Sit with and work closely with feature developers to understand and validate their code
  • Collaborate with team members to write test plans and create test cases
  • Participate in our agile/scrum process
  • Support the engineering team and help others benefit from your experience

 

Skills You Will Need to Have:

 

  • Demonstrated background in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, or GoLang
  • Proficient in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python
  • Experience with test and quality tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS), Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), HP ALM, or similar
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, RSpec, SpecFlow, etc.
  • Windows administration, including creating and supporting physical and virtual machines in a test lab environment
  • REST APIs and a good understanding of HTTP
  • A passion for quality and a desire to find bugs
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication/documentation skills are a must

Bonus Skills/Experience

  • Experience creating Coded UI tests with Visual Studio Enterprise
  • Experience with Selenium web drivers
  • Experience with cloud services such as Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
