What You'll Do:


  • Hire and lead a team of software engineers to deliver the next generation of Malwarebytes business solution
  • Develop scalable, high-traffic web systems (APIs, asynchronous jobs, workers) that serve millions of users
  • Design, develop, test, and integrate web-based services for B2B applications
  • Work closely with other developers, product managers, testers, DevOps in a fast-paced Scrum/Agile environment
  • Design and write code, peer code reviews, write unit tests, collaborate with test teams,
  • Make the world a better place by helping get rid of malware on millions of computers and mobile devices



Skills You'll Need to Have (Required):


  • 5+ years of software engineering experience including experience as a lead developer
  • Expert in NodeJS or Java including web frameworks such as Express or Spring
  • Strong experience designing and implementing modern RESTful APIs within a micro-services architecture
  • Strong understanding of modern web, tools and protocols used in building APIs (HTTP, TCP/IP, CORS, cURL, SSH, Fiddler, JWT, etc.)
  • Very good knowledge of SQL and relational database development, preferably Postgres
  • Experience building commercial SaaS application (large or small) with external users, preferably multi-tenancy
  • Professional experience in the AWS public cloud including with at least one commercial SaaS application
  • Good understanding of modern CI/CD methods
  • Very good understanding of Git
  • Strong Linux knowledge



Skills We'd Like You to Have (If not, we will teach you):


  • AWS Professional Certification (current)
  • ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, Redis, Lambda
  • Docker
  • High interest and willingness to learn and work in Golang
  • JavaScript, React.js (react-redux) or other major JavaScript frameworks
