Who We Need:


As we’ve been expanding at a rapid pace, we’ve been facing increasing challenges as we seek to transform the company into a more efficient and result-driven organization. This requires our finance team to act as a cohesion point to drive cross-functional alignment on the planning and execution of the company’s key initiatives. With that in mind, we’re looking for a top FP&A professional who is flexible, resilient, and has the drive to become a change agent for Malwarebytes’ next chapter.



What You’ll Do:


As a Senior Financial Analyst in the FP&A team, you will be responsible for supporting and driving new FP&A initiatives. Immediate projects may include developing business plans for our new products as well as providing business partnership to our business leadership team. Additional responsibilities may involve projects or tasks in the areas of forecasting, planning, reporting, and analysis. Below are actual examples of projects that our FP&A team has accomplished or is chartered to accomplish in the near future.

  • New business plan and model development
  • Annual operating plan
  • Corporate forecast process (P&L, B/S, CFS)
  • Key SaaS metrics
  • Executive dashboard
  • Subscription revenue forecast model
  • Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Board of Directors packages
  • Reporting automation
  • Valuation



Skills You’ll Need to Have:


The ideal candidate will be someone who has the following experience and skill set with the capacity to work independently as needed:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Finance/ Accounting/ Statistics or other related field; MBA desirable
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in Finance (including a minimum of 5 years in FP&A)
  • Tech industry background is required; SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • New business plan and model development experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on financial forecast modeling experience (business model construct, assumptions, sensitivity)
  • Experience in managing bookings, revenue and P&L by partnering with business GMs (VP/Director level), preferably in a B2B sales environment (direct or channel)
  • Experience in financial planning and forecasting
  • Advanced Excel skills (advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be well-organized with an impeccable attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on experience with Access (or other DB tool) and self-serve BI (e.g. Business Objects)
