Who We Need:

The Role of the Sales Development Representative is to Generate Qualified Leads for the sales force.  This is done through outbound efforts where the SDR follows up with responders and or event attendees who match our ideal customer profile. They also serve as the main point of contact to build relationships with incoming calls, and web inquiries. The role is dedicated to managing leads with the goal of scheduling appointments that lead to real opportunities. 


What to Expect:

Three core elements of the Sales Development role:
1. Build rapport with contacts by offering resources (webinar invitations, white papers, relevant blog articles, etc.) and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process
2. Gather key information to update the CRM system and assign a nurture path and follow-up strategy
3. Identify opportunities that meet a minimum qualification criteria to schedule appointments for the sales team.  For smaller deals, you will work directly with our local distribution partner to move the opportunity to a Malwarebytes quote.


What You’ll Do:


  • Transform Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales Opportunities, by educating, and challenging prospective buyers; not selling
  • Update SFDC to reflect current lead status
  • Use Lead Nurturing processes: phone calls & follow-up via phone & email on leads from web, events, email campaigns, etc.
  • Schedule intro meetings w/potential buyers & Sales Manager to move leads into opportunities.
  • Work with our local distribution partner to directly quote SME opportunities.


Skills You’ll Need to Have:


  • Previous telemarketing experience is a must; preferably in security or IT-related companies
  • Examples of self-managing your workday and as the direct manager will be located offsite
  • Ability to ascertain a prospects problem area and articulate a solution-based response
  • Drive to attain target metrics as the compensation is 20% leveraged on outcomes
  • Excellent written, verbal and phone communication skills
  • Great problem solver; ability to grasp difficult concepts easily
  • Self-starter; resourceful & ability to adapt quickly to changing environment
  • Willing to work in a vivacious team environment with Sales and Marketing
  • experience a plus
