Who We Need:

 

We are looking for an experienced pre-sales engineer to support our field sales team (Mountain-West Territory). This engineer will be responsible for evangelizing and selling Malwarebytes’ solutions to prospective and existing customers, leading technical discussions, demonstrations, and evaluations, and managing the technical aspects of all sales activity. You will work closely with prospects and customers, interfacing in-person or via web conference. You will also work closely with internal teams for successful customer management post-sale and providing feedback for the product, development, and engineering teams.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Deliver technical product presentations in-person and via web conference.
  • Provide pre-sales support to prospects
  • Assist in creation of documentation and relevant tools (e.g. scripts)
  • Provide product evaluations and assist with installations and custom configurations during customer trials.
  • Work with Product Management team as a liaison to accounts around technical product requirements.
  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) on Malwarebytes’ technologies and partner integrations.
  • Support for marketing events like RSA or Black Hat and regional events 

 

 

Skills You’ll Need to Have:

 

  • Experience in the security space, especially endpoint security/protection and EDR technologies
  • Proficiency with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of networking, troubleshooting tools, scripting a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a comfort level with presenting in-person or via web conference
  • Ability to “think on your feet” and come up with creative solutions
  • Ability to organize and prioritize several time critical tasks
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role with a solid understanding of the competitive landscape
