Who We Need 

This Sales role will be responsible new business development for the Northern region in Australia in the mid market and up into the enterprise space.

The ideal candidate will have proven success building a pipeline, an existing network and experience in the Cyber Security market.  Since we work through partners you must also understand the partner’s strategic objectives and tie them back to Malwarebytes objectives, creating a mutually beneficial sales plan.

 

What You'll Do

  • Work at the highest levels of professionalism on a daily basis.
  • Must be a hunter: You are going after and developing with (and without) our channels new logo business.
  • Develop account plans and map the customer landscape in the territory.
  • Actively prospect, call and qualify high volume of sales opportunities.
  • Direct engagements and presentations with customers and channel partners in the field.
  • Build, maintain, and manage a healthy pipeline in the territory.
  • Collaborate and drive channel partners required to win deals.
  • Coordinate team efforts for optimal delivery.
  • Conduct virtual and live presentations around Malwarebytes solutions.
  • Provide an accurate forecast weekly and quarterly
  • Work closely with Malwarebytes management to develop a strategy.
  • Building strong business relationships to ensure the highest levels of customer service and retention
  • Work closely with partners, identify large scale opportunities, take the lead on sales opportunities and work with the team to close the business.
  • You will manage the Sales and Channel ecosystem and ensure correct procedure is being followed throughout sales process.
  • Create campaigns, attend events and conferences and work with various stakeholders to achieve this.
  • Work with the team members, especially the Sales Engineers to ensure the best results.
  • Be involved with onboarding and provide consistent updates to partners and customers.
  • Strengthen relationships within partner and customer base and continue to grow account acquisition
  • Proactively working with partners to make them aware of new technical advancements or options that might be relevant and of interest to them
  • New customer acquisition skills - happy to cold call & prospect

 

Skills You'll Need to Have

  • A sense of urgency is critical.
  • A team player with the ability to not only recreate the skills you have learned over the years but also to listen and learn from others about what proven success looks like at Malwarebytes.
  • 5 years of successful IT sales experience a must.
  • Any experience selling SI, Cloud and IT Managed Services is desired but not essential
  • Outstanding territory account planning skills and motivation - you will need to be self-driven, understand the required KPI's and activities to be successful in this style of role and know how to manage your day/week/time without being hand held
  • Proven account planning skills/acumen.
  • Ability to take objectives and initiatives to create a marketing plan to generate awareness and demand, that aligns with Malwarebytes strategic objectives.
  • Self-starter, creative problem solver, high energy, thrive in start-up environment
  • Detail-oriented business professional with outstanding organizational, reporting and presentation skills 
  • Experience with Salesforce and cloud based operational/ordering process systems and Excel, PowerPoint proficiency
  • Do what you do best but also to learn from others on the proven success model at Malwarebytes.
  • Superior presentation and communications skills
  • Effectively respond to partner and customer queries and ensure exceptional satisfaction and levels of service
  • Excellent objection handling skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to learn quickly and grasp new concepts and procedures
  • Travel required in designated region/territory.
