Who We Need:

 

Malwarebytes is looking for a hands-on technology leader to join its growing platform team as an Architect. In this role, you will help build highly scalable platform services to power our products’ scale and growth. You’ll mentor and work together with strong engineers in a fast-paced, agile platform, to build reliable, secure, and scalable services and products. You are highly technical and passionate and will roll up your sleeves to build several platform services. You will work with other technical leaders, product leaders and a diverse set of stakeholders to solve challenging problems to protect millions of customers from emerging threats and restore their confidence in using their computers. You will thrive working in a fast paced and nimble working environment.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Architect, Design and build scalable platform microservices and frameworks
  • Help propagate a culture of quality, execution, improvement, and growth
  • Create blueprints and best practices for the platform services
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
  • Lead Design and Code reviews
  • Work alongside engineering and product leaderships teams for developing the platform services roadmap development and help drive the execution
  • Work with cross-organizational teams such as Product Management, Integrations, Services, Support, and Operations, to ensure the success of overall software development, implementation, and deployment

 

 

Skills You’ll Need to Have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
  • 8+ years of experience building enterprise SaaS platforms using a variety of technologies and stacks in engineering and architecture leadership roles.
  • Experience in developing and scaling cloud based enterprise products or platforms
  • 8+ years of hands on experience with a variety of software stacks/technologies including but not limited to Java, J2EE, .Net, JavaScript, SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Solid work experience using AWS cloud services
  • Experience with Microservices or Service Oriented Architecture.
  • Thorough understanding of Web application software security, OWASP top 10, identity management, SAML, and OAuth
  • Solid experience designing production REST APIs
  • String experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Data pipeline, ETL or Data warehousing is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
