Who We Need:

 

  • A skilled and motivated engineer with advanced knowledge in what it takes to create a great environment for staff to work in. The team is very supportive and the skills are broad across all members. It’s important that we work together through good communication and documentation to get the job done and to keep it well maintained.
  • Looking for someone with excellent debugging, problem solving, and testing skills 
  • Ability to mentor other system administrators in best practices.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. 

 

 

What You'll Be Doing:

 

Take a step back, take in the grandeur that is our environment and then improve it.

As with all environments, without proper love and care, things get old and some things get left in a bad state. We’re looking for someone who wants to fix them. You will be given a large amount of freedom to drive projects where you see high impact improvements to begin with.

This role is a systems engineer role, but leans more towards someone with a strong networking skill set. Having the knowledge of routing and switching is crucial to the success of this role.

 

 

Skills You'll Need to Have:

 

  • Strong Network Administration Skills in at least one of the two disciplines between Juniper and Cisco.
  • Microsoft Windows Administration Skills – Domain admin, powershell knowledge,
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as SSO, cloud based email administration
  • Vmware vsphere knowledge
  • Programming knowledge at a competent level for creating automations, queries or reporting.
  • SAN/iscsi administration knowledge
  • Aruba wireless or general knowledge of administering an enterprise grade wireless network
  • AWS or Azure knowledge
  • AD on prem to Azure AD migration experience
